Our Mission: To give you the Triangle?s Finest Dance Experience with professional dance teachers that are dedicated to your personal dance development and growth; also, to provide you with a memorable experience in all studio activities and functions with a culture of fun, friendship and achievement. We provide private lessons with group classes and practice parties in Ballroom, Latin, Swing and Argentine Tango in Raleigh, NC. Friday and Saturday nights our beautiful space is also a rental facility available for wedding receptions, Quincea?era, and other private parties with an event coordinator on site that works with event planners.

Ballroom Dance Instruction for Couples and Singles including Wedding Prep
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
With an extensive background in Ballet from Virginia Intermont College, East Carolina University and dancing with the Savannah Ballet Company, I decided to teach Ballroom Dancing in Savannah with the local Fred Astaire Studio. I later moved to Venice, FL and married Larry Silvers who was 11 times ten-dance champion for the US. With his guidance I trained in the International style of ballroom studying with some of the greatest coaches in the world.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We have a large staff dedicated to supporting the students as a team with many opportunities to practice what they are learning. The school also runs a Ballroom Teachers College for those interested in learning the theory required for teaching. ASTG has 3 rooms for teaching with a 2400 sq. ft. main ballroom--the largest is Raleigh. This gives us the capability of offering meny classes simultaneously. We also offer Wheelchair Ballroom classes. Everyone can dance!
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One at this time with no immediate plans to expand.

From I-440 Inner or Outer Beltline Exit onto Glenwood Avenue (North) Proceed North on Glenwood Avenue past Crabtree Valley Mall From the intersection of Glenwood and Creedmoor Road, continue 1.5 miles North on Glenwood Avenue to the third stoplight. Turn Right into Pleasant Valley Promenade Shopping Center. The Ballroom is on the Second Level of the first building on the left .
