How long have you been in business?
We have been in business since November, 2006.
What is your primary product or service?
We are dryer vent specialist--we clean, repair, and install dryer vents. Dryer Vents are out only business!
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I lost my corporate job. I needed to work and I looked into franchising--after investigating several, I decided to go with Dryer Vent Wizard. I had been a volunteer firefighter in my younger days and I know the importance of having a safe dryer/dryer vent. Of the franchises that I investigated, Dryer Vent Wizard was the best fit for me.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We show up when scheduled or call ahead to advise our customers if running behind. We return phone calls. We keep it clean. We strive to get it right the first time. We do our best to make sure we have solved our customer's problem before we leave. We stand behind what we do. Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction!
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have only one location and we have no plans to expand at this time.

Our van is our office--we do not have a location to visit.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept major credit cards, cash, and checks.
Which areas do you service?
We serve the triangle and surrounding areas. One can call our dispatch and they will ask for the zip code; then they will advise if we service that area.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
My wife and I own our franchise but I run the daily operations. I am not only the manager of all aspects of our business, I am the one that shows up at our customers' homes to provide service.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday through Friday and we have three appointment windows available: 9:30-10:30 am, 1-4 pm, and 4-7 pm. We will arrive within the time stated or we will call if running behind. Bear in mind that if we arrive in the later part of our last appointment, we could be in your home 1-3 hours depending on what we find.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
Referring me to one's family or friends!

Treat others in the same manner that you want to be treated. Do your best work, be honest, and keep your word.
