How long have you been in business?
I have been working with dogs for over 20 years. I also do therapy work with one of my Golden Retrievers, and rescue group volunteer.
What is your primary product or service?
In-home dog training and behavior modification.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My first dog was a collie at 4 years old and ever since then dogs have been my very best friends.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I don't charge by the hour, just a flat fee for a session that on average can last 2+ hours. Most clients don't need more than 2-3 lessons but have free phone consultations for as long as they own the dog. I don't use treats or clickers, prong, shock collars or gentle leaders, but instead teach specific communication techniques so your dog can understand you, and likewise you being able to understand the dogs personality and body language. Obedience to Behavior Modification by both dog and human alike. Free kids Pet Safety Class with any lesson or for groups. Ask about Canine Care Education and Nutrition.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I will go anywhere to help a dog and their owners, 7 days a week. I don't use any junior trainers all training is taught by "The Raleigh Dog Trainer"
